Oregon Camp Cherith is committed to helping individuals develop skills which strengthen their relationship with God and others, enhance their God-given talents, and foster an appreciation of God's creation. We take special care to ensure safe and secure facilities and require background checks for all staff. Oregon Camp Cherith is part of the camping ministry of Pioneer Clubs®. It is accredited by the American Camping Association which sets minimum standards that ensure quality and safety within our camp.
All Campers
WOW! Look at the terrific activites at Camp Cherith! Available to all campers this year are canoeing, archery, drama, hiking, nature crafts, outdoor cooking, first aid, woodworking, fishing, and other camp favorites that you can choose to do. You'll also sing songs, play games, enjoy skits, snacks and time with new and old friends. Everyone experiences cooking outside and sleeping under the stars one night! During free time everyday there are paddle boats, fun-bugs, swimming and tubing, the camp store, basketball, volleyball, crafts, foosball, carpet-ball, and canoeing - just to name a few!
Grades 7 - 12
This year you have four terrific overnight trips to choose from : waterskiing*, kayaking, rafting, or rock hound treasure hunt. Please indicate your first and second choice on your registration form and include the appropriate fee. Space is limited on the waterskiing trip so get your registration form in soon!
*Do you enjoy water sports but don't want to water-ski? Wakeboarding, kneeboarding, and tubing are included in the Waterskiing Trip.

Grades 10-12
CIT (Counselor in Training)
Our new CIT (Counselor in Training) activity will prepare those who wish to serve as
Cabin Counselors and Junior Counselors. We will cover topics such as camper age characteristics,
behavior management, teaching Bible exploration, counseling techniques, and other important topics.
This will be a three-year course and will need to be completed by all those intending to counsel
camper groups.
