Writing and Illustrations
A nonfiction book about companioning a Romanian poet and college student through the hell of prison medical abuse and up through the courts to reverse his false conviction is documented in this story which uses letters, e-mails to fellow Quakers and journal entries of my monthly visits to the Oregon State Penitentiary 1996-1999 when Gabriel was finally released to recover his health and his life."Prison Visitor: a Quaker Memoir of Friendship and Survival" is with Tom Mullen at Earlham School of Religion in Indiana.
I have illustrated "My Friend God" a book for very young Friends by Christine Greenland, due to be published soon by the Quaker Tract Association in Philadelphia.
I've written for library professional journals, for "Evangelical Friend" and "Fruit of the Vine". Currently, for a biography, I'm seeking stories and recollections about the pioneer Friends Pastor, Iola Steen.

Episcopalians and Quakers
I attend All Saints Episcopal Church in SE Portland, Oregon. There I serve on the Adult Forum Committee and assist the youth ministries of David Champion. My membership is with Multnomah Monthly Meeting of Friends (Unprogrammed) and I have a long association with Reedwood Friends Church (Evangelical) also in Portland.

Pearsall Family History
My mother's mother was born Olive Almara Pearsall. Her family history went back 1100 years to the Norse outlaw Rognvald the Wolf. His son Rollo, first Duke of Normandy was the ancestor of several royal houses of Europe. The line that became the Pearsall Family of England and America is documented in the large books by Clarence Pearsall. These give the genealogies of many who bear the name in its various spellings. As I am able, I shall upload the extensive history page which I maintained for many years.
